MCTM Foundation

MCTM Continues to Build a Foundation

Funding may support:

Recruitment /retention assistance for math teachers, schools and district.
Acquisition of proper teaching tools and materials.
Teachers to attend external learning opportunities.
Peer networks within schools, districts and statewide.
A Math Mentor Network.
Business and industry partnerships, to provide practical applications.

 

The Foundation is now accepting applications from beginning and mid-career teachers for financial support to participate in the 2008 MCTM Spring Conference.  Application materials can be downloaded here:

The MCTM Foundation Governing Board is comprised of at least five members appointed by the MCTM President and Executive Committee to each serve a three year term. The current members and the year their terms end are listed below:

Ada Lovelace (1815 - 1852) $1-$49

Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci (1170-1250) $50-$99

Grace Murray Hopper (Admiral) (1906-1992) $100-$249

Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777 - 1855) $250-$499
