The Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics and Minnesota Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges held their annual Minnesota Spring Mathematics Conference April 27-28, 2007, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
The keynote speakers were Skip Fennell, current president of NCTM, and Joe Gallian, professor at the University of Minnesota.
In addition to the keynote speakers, sessions for all levels were held throughout the two days, providing participants with the opportunity to network and learn new ideas and techniques.
At the of the final luncheon, some of the lucky participants walked away with a doorprize. The prizes included 2 $1000 Savings Bonds, 4 Olympus digital cameras, 2 ipods, 2 Zune digital media players, 1 TI Smartview package, and a Duluth get-away weekend.
