MCTM created a position statement on the concept of a math specialist in elementary school.

MCTM revised the by-laws for the MCTM Foundation to specify membership and terms of office for the members of the Foundation board.

The election results are:
VP Mathematics – Kay Wohlhuter, UMN Duluth
VP Elementary – Judy Hansen, Pipestone
District 2 – Rhonda Bonnstetter, Southwest MN State
District 5 – Seth Leavitt, Field Elem, Mpls
District 8 – Greg Geary, Forestview MS, Brainerd

Honorary members: Ellen Delaney and Bonnie Hagelberger were selected.

The stipend for spring conference program chair was raised from $1250 to $1750.
