Registration fee is discounted to $30 when registering for both sessions.

Session Description Day 1: The 2019 MN Science Standards Practice #2 - Developing and Using Models - is similar to the 2022 Math Standards Practice #4 - Model with Mathematics. Come hear from the MDE Science and Math Specialists about what 'Modeling' looks like in math and science courses and how this practice promotes critical thinking and reasoning.

Session Description ay 2: The 2019 MN Science Standards Practice #4 - Analyze and Interpret Data - is similar to the 2022 Math Standards Practice #7 Look For and Make Use of Structure. (Don’t stop reading - it’s not as boring as it sounds!) Come hear from the MDE Science and Math Specialists about how 'Identifying Patterns' allows educators and students to discern and reveal underlying structure to empower us as powerful decision makers.
